I have the same problem.
edit: I let the mp3 stutter through and now no other mp3 files stutter. Go figure. Will try video files tomorrow.
edit: Stuttering still existed and I actually got a BSOD. I disabled all the other audio devices from device manager and it seems good now. I have a Creative X-Fi and onboard sound was already disabled in the BIOS.
