Can't get it working...

Win 8.1, 64 bit.

Installed. Noticed the cache wasn’t growing and nothing was happening. Hit the forum after a few days giving it time to work and tried a few things. Reinstalled. Tried clearing the partition and restarting. Still nothing.

So here’s a shot from the eccmc program:

Notice when I try to preload my windows directory it goes through a ton of files, has success zero (whatever that might mean. Already cached – 0. Error:  4736782

And now the cache read percentage after all that is .01% and it is using 130 meg of data. In other words, nothing…

Any ideas? C is not a dynamic disk. I thought maybe a conflict with acronis backup program, but that’s been removed and rebooted multiple times with no effect.

I’m at a loss here. So far nothing…

Hi kdlarman,

Can run msinfo32 on your system and pm me the result?

Done. Sent via PM.

Nothing?

I am waiting to hear the answer.

Hi I am having the same problem. I did have a 2nd disk which was dynamic so I converted it but what ever I try to precache no files get loaded. The cache monitor sits at 0.07GB used and never changes so if you want my details to add to the investigation.
