Cache program launching in a full window every time the computer boots up

Problem is I have the Cache program launching in a full window every time the computer boots up. Stupid! It should launch only in the system tray. Just imagine every other start up program launching in a full window upon booting. Not acceptable. Also I have had to turn off the security function in the Windows 7 control panel that allows programs to make changes to the computer or else allow it in a message box every time it launches. Pisses me off that no one said anything about this software being so needy. In an online chat Sandisk said that that’s just the way it was designed.

You can choose to not launch the app upon windows start (“Do not start with windows” option). The caching engine will still work without the GUI app.

I thought of that, but I don’t see it as active in the system tray.

I tested it out and YES the cache is building without the GUI app on!

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH.

Too bad Sandisk couldn’t tell me that.

You’re the best George!

System tray is an extention of the app, not needed. The engine is a sevice running in the background.

If you need to see the current cache, you can always run the app.
