Can't Backup - Message Appears

I am using an Asus TF300T tablet. I inserted a 32GB SD into the keyboard base. I uninstalled the APP and re-installed. I do not see it. When I try to configure backup, there is a popup but I can’t see it as another popup obscures it. The second popup has a title of BACKUP. Under that it says SELECT DESTINATION, RESTORE. It is all greyed out and I can’t select it.

My memory sources shows Internal Memory and Online Storage but no external memory.

Do I have to format the card?  If so, how do I do that?

I checked the SD chip on my PC and it was formatted as FAT32.  I formatted it again just to be sure.  Same thing - I can’t see it in my memory sources and clicking the backup button gives me the popups as I indicated above.
