FLAC

Does anyone know how to play FLAC? The iphone app doesnt support these.

Please dont tell me just to convert them. I have gone to a lot of trouble to get good quality files and dont want to touch them.

FLAC is not supported by the connect drive app. see the link below for compatible file types. You may be able to use the iOS Open In Feature and open the file in something like VLC but that will require the file to be downloaded to the phones storage. this is an iOS limitation. Other than that it would have to be converted.

NOTE: Some  video containers may contain video or audio codecs that are not supported. If the underlying video or audio codec is not supported you will see an error that the file contains an unsupported codec.
NOTE: Playback of DRM enabled files is not supported by Connect Drive.

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG

 

Documents
DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, PDF

Note: the SanDisk Connect App only supports viewing of documents. You may be able to use the iOS "Open In" function to open these and other file types in other apps for additional functionality. The File may need to be saved to your iOS device in order to open the file in other applications.
DRM encoded content is not supported

Note: Support for certain audio and video formats may not be available depending on the compatibility of the host device.
