How to play non .mp4 videos?

Ho all. I’m new to the Wireless Flas Drive. I am trying to play a non-mp4 type video. I have the VLC Streamer installed on my Ipad 2, but the drive will not play the video. Has anyone successfully been able to play a non-mp4 video> If so, can you tell me how?

Hello!

Try : It’s Playing" from Appstore. In my case it works. VLC Player is not available for iOS 8. VLC Streamer is different application.
