Firmware update?

Hello,

My player firmware is v.1.17, despite of having the lock/unlock feature the power on/off overrides it and the accidental power on the player is still there.

I’m wandering if a new firmware scheduled for release in order fix these shortcomings?

Any suggestion(s)?

You might try manually reapplying the latest firmware, in case your issue is due to a firmware glitch–I don’t have your hold issue.  See the firmware thread at the top of this forum.

SanDisk has been working on a firmware revision–but unknown when it might issue.

It seems to me the only way to have a lock feature that can’t be overriden by the on/off switch is to have a dedicated hardware switch setting for the lock. The lock on the Clip Sport is a software one though.
