I want to put 24gb of wma files on a 32gb micro SD card about 6400 songs worth. Will my sport clip read all the songs?
Should I compress the files into smaller mp3 files?
Will the artist, albums, and songs be in the same order I put them on the clip?
no evne the beta FW only support 4000 files for internal and 4000 for external memory. if you use the production FW it will only supprot 2000 files internal and 2000 external. these are hardware limitations so they would not increase more than the beta FW limits.

no the 2 players currently in production, The Clip Sport and Clip Jam both have the same database limitations. It is not the capacity that is the issue it is how many files the database supports.

Although out of production (as mientioned), there are still some Clip +'s and Zips available. These would handle that amount of music, but are usually priced pretty high on the secondary market. You might be able to find some re-furbed ones on eBay or other sites at a more reasonable price.
