I am having a problem connecting my powerbeats 3 wireless headsets to the Sandisk MP3 sport clip +

the clip sport plus currently has a compatibility issue with power beats 3 and airpods. You will not be able to connect using either of those headphones. I would recommend using a different set of headphones.

are there any updates coming to resolve this ? 
i need to know if i should take the player back to the store, or keep it around for a patch/firmware updates...

i would suggest contacting sandisk support and see if they have any update.

they actually realesed version 2.12 to the firmware update for it a few weeks ago. 

the issue is that it's still didn't resolve the problem. 

keeping my fingers crossed for the next update to do so...
