Sandisk Clip Jam won't remember its place when listening to audiobooks

When I switch back and forth betweem multiple audiobooks, the player does not remember where I left off. This happens also after I use the radio or change settings. The track number always gets reset to 1. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

On my Clip Sport, using Books play mode, the player will remember one resume position for each audio file. These audio files must be stored inside the "Audiobooks" or "Podcasts" folders  (or their subfolders).   If you switch play modes or use the radio, then you will need to manually select which audio file you want to resume.

Resume positions will not be created for audio files stored inside the Music or Playlists folders.

Resume positions will not be created (or recognized) using Folder play mode.
