Clip Jam faulty? Screen dark.

Hello

I have just received my new Clip Jam but the screen is - and remains - so dark it is more or less indiscipherable. I charged it (for at least the recommended 3 hours), found with great difficulty the brightness setting and changed it to 100%, and did a reset in accordance with the instructions here on the website. But no success, the result is still the same dim screen.

Can I assume it is faulty and that I need to have it replaced or is there anything else I can try?

I would. You should not have an isue like this straight out of the box.
