ok i finally got mine to work. it still doesnt recognize properly. it turned out it was the new 4gb card i got.

here's a possible fix.

Open C:\WINDOWS\System32\Driverstore\FileRepository

look for the folder named usbstor.inf_blahblahblah

if you find more than one, open the most recent

copy all the file found in there to C:\WINDOWS\INF

unplug then replug your device...

Marqck your the man , went through this thread trying the posted fixes, and my didn't work either, I have the 8gb Micro XD in a Micromate, running an Evesham machine with Vista Home Premium.

Tried your fix and bingo we have lift off.

Just an update on my problem, which was the same as others were experiencing.  Installed SP1 when it became available for my OS Language, and whola, works now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
