HELL HELP Sandisk 32GB Extreme 30MB/s testing slow??

I bought not understanding that there are a lot of con artists out there. BobobUk a seller on eBay sold me an Extreme 32GB card that is rated at Class 10 and 30MB/s.

Using my laptop reader and H2Testw, recommended on here I have found:

The write Speed is 6.95MB/s whilst the Read Speed is 3.06MB/s.

It is in my Laptop reader being tested. Can the Speed be wrong or a sign of a fake card? Or is it my reader on the laptop?

What should it be in terms of speed? I am using my SD.MS/Pro/MMC/XD reader on my laptop, its an HP Pavillion dv9000 so not so old on Vista.

What should I do ?

HERE IS THE RESULT:

30424 to write took 1hr 12

30424 Verifying took 2hrs and 45

Test finished without errors.

You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 6.95 MByte/s
Reading speed: 3.06 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

Many thanks.

Regards

assuming the card is real it is likely the reader in the laptop causing the slow transfer speed. most all laptop manufacturers use the cheapest slowest reader possible. you can contact sandisk technical support to confirm if the card is genuine and if it is i would recomend getting a higher speed USB reader like the one linked below.

Thank you for your help. I am checking to see if the product is in actual fact real. Shocking to find out the seller is being done for Fraud and there were numerous complaints in the UK for selling fakes. fingers crossed!

Is It better than ImageMate AllInOne SDDR-189?

I ask this because I am testing same card and speeds are 20 MB/s read, 15 MB/s write. My PC was bought this year and has 2.0 high speed USB (480 Mbps / 80 MB/s).

Tests with different software (CristalDisk, HDTach, HDTune Pro, Flash Card Utility, etc)

What am I doing wrong?

I see…

This forum…

Is like spanish SanDisk support phone, it does not work at all.

Hi,

eBay is plenty of SanDisk fakes, we recorded a video where we explain the differences between a SanDisk original SDHC Extreme and a fake bought on Ebay.

Just go to the video and pass until minute: 06:00 , you will see the serial number, check your card if you dont find the SN is a fake. If you have already checked with H2testw software it will report the real capacity a transfer speed. ( you can visit also “SOSFAKEFLASH” forum just google it )

Go directly to minute 06:00

http://www.youtube.com/memoryval#p/u/19/Xmj6YowwE7g

You can see the principal difference is the serial number that comes at the back side of all sdhc extreme SanDisk cards, also in the fron where appears de label with logo SanDisk you will see an 3D hologram in the original ones

Most of SanDisk fakes sold on ebay does not have serial number.

Sorry about the video, as it was made in spanish, hope it can help.

If you confirm that SanDisk card is a fake please report the seller id and ebay id numbers to brandprotection@sandisk.com  .

SanDisk is a VeRo partner on ebay so they can remove the fakes reported by users inmediately

I recently got a new SanDisk Ultra Class 10 Micro SDHC UHS-I. Just to verify if it is genuine, I have the following result. Could anyone tell me if the read and write speeds are as per the card’s specifications ? Also the maximum storage available is 29.7GB. Thanks

Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 12.4 MByte/s
Reading speed: 27.1 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

Dear member of SanDisk Community, welcome.

Friend, enjoy!!

The parameters, of its  SanDisk MicroSDHC 32 GB, Ultra Class 10 UHS-I, are normal.

The capacity is good (~ 7% is used, in the internal software).

If you want, can used, also:

  • To measure the speed, with (app portable, free): USB CrystalDisk Mark, http://filecloud.io/9hqxp6fc

  • To obtain the internal data of the UFD, you can use (apps portable, free): USB Flash ChipGenius,  http://filecloud.io/rqa7etmv

Thanks for your quick response. Crystaldisk mark won’t identify my micro sd card. It only recognizes the hard drives. I am on Windows 10 Technical Preview (if it matters). Thanks once again.
