Maybe because this is a user’s forum, not a SanDisk customer or tech support forum?

Then how can I get the problem fixed?

Its very SAd to Say that i am also a Victiom of this !! I have a Galaxy S3 and after using my 64GB perfectly fine for about 8-9 months , then this Happens !! i can only Read the files which i have but cannot Write anything . I mean it shows that it is copying and formatting but after a while it just returns back to its old Self !!

I found a Solution Online , and many ppl said that it worked for them & some said it didn’t !! well its a mixed Review !!

I haven’t tried it Yet bcuz i am waiting for my Card Reader to arrive which i ordered (currently i dont have any with me)…

So give this method a try and see if it Works  ----- >>>>

1. Pluge this drive or memory card to a computer. (Of course, you should use a card Reader to connect your memory card.) 2. Click “Start” on the taskbar to open “Run” and type in “regedit”. 3. Hit “HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE” to expand “System”. 4. Find “CurrentControlSet” in “System” list 5. Then expand “Control” in “CurrentControlSet” list. 6. Check whether there is a key named “StorageDevicePolicies” to change the digit in the “DWORD value” box into "0" and press “OK”. But, if you cannot find the key named “StorageDevicePolicies”, you are supposed to create one: right click “Control” to create a new key and name it as “StorageDevicePolicies”=\> right click on this new key\>New\> click “DWORD Value” and name it as “write protect”=\> Double click it to change number.

IF You Try this Give Your Feevback please !!!

try this step guide to format your memory card http://www.techcloud7.com/formatting-memory-card.html

My 64GB ultra micro sd developed this problem too, i tried everything and still can’t find a solution.  It started about 5 monthes ago i was watching a video on my Galaxy note 8.0 and suddenly the the tablet closed everything and said the memory card is corrupted.  I couldn’t access it until i restarted my note then it started functioning normally.  I noticed the problem afterwards when pics and songs disappeared after i moved them into it and things i delete are brought back. Since then I’ve been trying every way possible to format it but nothing worked.

I too wanted to share my story so that nobody else buys it until a solution is found.

I didn’t use it that long almost for only a year or less but because i bought it earlier before using it i couldn’t use my warranty any more.

Your card has a 7 year warranty. Are you saying you bought it longer ago than that? I doubt it, since they aren’t that old.

Just called Sandisk support, and they said all their products have a 10 year warranty.  My replacement will be delivered when they get the bad one returned, which they will collect in the next day or so.  Solved!
