Ok, here’s my challenge. I have a Verizon Omnia II. I initially purchased a 2GB card for the device, and things worked ok.
As a typical American, I thought, “Hey, if 2 works ok, 16 should be great!”.
So, after having found a great deal on a SanDisk 16gb card, I bought and installed it. Initially, it worked. In fact, it still does.
What I didn’t count on was a work related program that could not “see” a 16GB card - 8GB was the largest the code could access, so during installation on the phone, the program reported a disk size of 0.
So, now the question is this: do I have to ditch my 16GB card and buy a 8GB card, or, is there a way to format the card to appear like a 8GB card?
Actually, I have additional questions: 1) if there is a way, what is it? and 2) what about a 16GB card would make it unaccessible?
