I recently purchased the SanDisk micro SD with adapter for mobile phones, the packages included a media manager pc software download. That downloaded perfectly fine.
When I insert my card into the adapter, and then insert the adapter into my computer via a specialized port on my HP Pavillion dv2000 series laptop (it reads: SD-MS/Pro-MMC-XD), it fits perfectly. I get a message that says that I need to install driver software. I go ahead and click OK to automatically install the driver software.
Then ultimately it says installation failed due to:
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. SD Storage Card. The system cannot find the file specified. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software."
Can someone help me out here??
(This is ALSO the same message I get when I do the same thing with my 4g memory card for my digital camera)
