I am working on a project similar to yours. I wan tot use sd card as a data logger and I am writing directly to the sectors as you are doing. Initialization, read write wroks fine. But when we do a long run, the write operations fail at some time and card is entering IDLE mode. Have you came across such problems?
It would be great if you can help me solve this problem.
