04-02-2008 09:23 AM Is anybody try to use SanDisk Ultra PC Card Adapter with Extreme CompactFlash memory to support ReadyBoost?? Card speed seems to be enough and what about Reader? Where I can find any information about max speed of this reader?

04-02-2008 10:26 AM It probably will not work. The speed of the card is not the issue, it is the speed of a 16 Bit PCMCIA bus. Very slow. The theoretical maximum is less than 10 MB/s and the real world speeds are far below that I am sure.

01-04-2009 05:49 PM READYBOOST Requirements:
*device pertains to Flashdrive & bus, if we are refering to reader & card & bus, we will take into consideration the maximum speed attainable by the combination.
ALSO, fuzzy is right, PCMCIA bus is too slow. Message Edited by hckrs2k3 on 01-04-2009 05:52 PM
