Problems with USB Flash Drive

Hi ya all i have a Sandisk Cruzer Micro U3 USB Flash Drive 8GB which i have had for best part of 2 years or so ... about a year ago i accidently left the Stick in the computer while reformating ... not its saying i have a format the drive ... but is not letting me do so ... i was wondering if there was any chance i could rescue the Stick not the files just the stick so i have something to store stuff on ... would be a great help

Have you tried to uninstall U3?  There should be an option in the Launchpad window to do that.  If not check the stickies at the top of this forum section.
