I just brought this early from Best Buy and when I try to boot from it during system start up, it has an .iso cd file on it but it only says remove media disks press any key to restart. Am i doing something wrong? I had a usb drive from Lexar and everything worked just fine.

Yes, you can make it bootable, but not just by throwing an ISO on there. Do a Google search for "bootable USB flash drive" and you will find plenty of instructions for getting it to work depending on what OS you want to have start up. I have done it with DOS, WinXP, and Ubuntu Linux.
