i just bought a white box from eCost, description said there is no wi-fi for this model. arrived today, charged with AC power adapter, turned on fine. however, cannot connect to my PC, when connected via USB port, XP said it cannot install the new hardware. i tried to turn it off by pushing the power button for 8 seconds and reconnect, didn’t work. i also downloaded WMP v11 as some postings suggested, rebooted my PC, still nothing happened. can anybody help?
Try Settings -> Factory Reset
If that doesn’t work, see if the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool can communicate with it:
