Resume music playback with Clip Jam?

Hi all 

I’m looking to buy a Clip Jam to replace my clip+. The clip+ allowed me to pause my music and then later on, pick up exactly where I left off before, even if it’s midway through the track.

my question is does the clip jam do the same thing?

Yes, however when the player makes a data connection, the resume point is lost. If the resume point is important to you, then charge the player with a cell phone charger(that puts out 5 volts, as most current ones do).
