sandisk cruzer force 8gb secure access v2 encryption empty vault

I have just (stupidly it seems) clicked update on sandisk cruzer v2, and it promped me for a new password. Not thinking, I put the same password in, and now I have an empty vault, and a sandisk secure access file full of encrypted files that I cannot decrypt! 

Any ideas on how to decrypt these would be amazing.

I don’t get how the sandisk secure access cannot decrypt them now, when it could 2 hours ago, with the same password.
