my sandisk usb got write protected.. loking for help to remove it ....

hi all… my sandisk cruzer glide

… got write protected. accedentally… i already done the regedit method, the cmd/command prompt method and failed, and now i do  not know waht to do… i guess the sandisk cruzer glide has no lock ryt?  so hope someone help me that flash drive… is almost 4/5 years on me now… want to fix it…

in that case if the drive is write protected there is nothing much you can do. you can contact sandisk support to receive a replacement in that case

hi deponia… thanks for the reply…but i guess replacement is out of the options already my flashdrive was bought in 2012 , and this is the first time i encounter such problem…  in other forums it one user told me that it maybe ran out of write-cycles , i guess that is big possibility and maybe my poor flashdrive will be in my museum as a hall of famer… lol…  if i cant fix it then its time for a new one… huhu

Well it doesn’t cost anything to try the RMA or to check the warantee page https://www.sandisk.com/about/legal/warranty/warranty-table.  Many models are 5 yrs and some are 10 yrs but your option as to what you want to do.
