'Write Only' mode corruption - Ultra Dual Type-C 64gb

Hi!

Yesterday I have bought the drive . And today, for a mistake, the flash drive was removed from the phone in the process of copying files.

Now, I can read files on it, PC and phone can find it easily, but I can’t delete/create/copy files on it. I can’t even format it :frowning:

There is always a ‘Write Only’ error message.

Nothing like “go to regedit” and “go to cmd” doesn’t work (the most popular methods, at least).

Model: SANDISK ULTRA DUAL DRIVE USB TYPE-C 64GB (SDDDC2-064G-G46)

Is there any chance to restore the USB drive?

Thanks!

If a drive is removed unsafely the usual fix is to run a CHKDSK command on it.  If that doesn’t doesn’t resolve the problem for you then the drive needs to be replaced.

What exactly should I do with the “chksk” command?
