All SanDisk USB Flash Drives

  Hi...

     I have bought a new sandisk cruzer blade 8gb.I have copied all the folders and applications came within it.I have not installed them.My OS is windows7 home basic.I have formatted the pendrive and copied a movie in it.From then it became write protected.I could not copy or format it anymore....It is saying that it is "Write Protected"....What to do? How to remove this protection...? I want to use it as a normal pendrive working with all OS without any problem...My Sandisk is SDCZ50--008GB.....

I think this has a U3 feature. Try turning it off and see if it makes a difference. Good luck.

SanDisk hasn't made a U3 drive since 2009.  I seriously doubt the new Blade has U3 on it.

sir my sun disk 4 gb pen drive is not formate...

it's showes the "the disk is write protected"

please give the soluction....

and that time it's formatted and after again formatting it.s not farmatted its shows the "the disk is write protected"

Are there any files or folders on the pen drive?

Are you able to see Hidden files or olders with your Windows Explorer?

What operating system are you using?

Why do you want to format the pen drive?

1- only 1 corrupted folder in my pen drive...

2- no Hidden files in my pen drive...

3- i'm windos x.p are using

4- because of new deta will be transfer in pen drive..

(i'm  not remove the SanDiskSecureAccess in format time)

that why it will be accurring this type of problem...

1a. Insert the pen drive.

1b. Open a Command Prompt window

1c. Enter the command:  attrib ?:\*.* where ? is the drive letter of the pen drive

1d. RIGHT click on the top of the Command Prompt window and select Edit then Select All then press Enter.

..... This will copy the text in the Command Prompt window to Windows' Clipboard.

1e. In your reply here click on the Insert Code icon then press the Shift+Ins keys. (or Ctrl+V)
