Power interrupted during copy..now the drive doesnt work

Hi,

i have a sandisk 4gb USB data storage device.While i was copying some data to it power was interrupted.Since than the drive is not working any more.When i connect it to the system the drive appears for a second and than its not shown any more.

I tried different systems doesnt work.

Tried device manager,disk manager,command prompt Nothing works.

Tried xp,7,ubuntu Nothing works.

The data inside it is not important and it doesnt make any differenece to me if it needs to be formated anyway.

Please advice.

sounds like it killed the drive. it will likely need to be replaced.
