I just got a new computer. When I open my 8GB Cruzer now, the documents in the folders in My Vault is missing! If a document was not in the folder its there. Everthing was fine yesterday. Wher are my files? Can I recover them?
Where is your old computer? Can you still use it?
It is being held by IT for 30 days. I can get access tomorrow.

You need to update your software on the drive to allow access when using a Windows7 puter.
#1 insert drive to a Windows XP puter or your old puter.
#2 backup any files on this drive, if they are the only source of the files.
#3 reformat drive
#4 install the latest version of SecureAccess found at:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2399
Now your drive will not have a problem showing files in your vault on a Windows7 puter.
U3 needed to be updated to run on Win 7, and even then in Compatibility mode, but I don’t think SecureAccess has the problem. And IMO it can be updated by installing a downloaded version over the top of the app on the USB drive. No need to reformat the drive.
So, if you are not able to re-activate your old vault. Then you have lost all your files.
They’re not “lost”, rather “no longer accessible”.
