Lost all files and failed update to version 3?

Help! I have the Scan Disk. cruzer glide 16 GB. It was full of photos. Now, when I try to log in it shows only files related to an update to version 3 (?). If I try to update to version 3 it fails everytime.  

Are my files gone? What kind of craziness is this? Thanks!

If your files were stored in the SecureAccess vault they are probably lost at this point.
