Fix my USB please!

Can someone tell me how to fix =  If the computer cannot recognize a Cruzer Slice 16GB how can I fix it? Do I have to get a new one? Because I don’t have a serial number or any sort of that to get a replacement. AND I REALLY NEED ONE NOW so please help!

When my system would not recognize my ScanDisk, I follow the instructions here.  If you right click on the exclamation point or question mark and do an update driver, and choose either your PC or online to search for a driver.  It worked for me.

Before returning this, try to plug this in on a different PC first and see if it would make a difference.
