Cruzer Titanium 2 GB- how do I get rid of ReadyBoost?

 Cruzer Titanium 2.0 GB

I made the mistake of trying out ReadyBoost, and now I can't get rid of it!

I've tried everything I can think of,  and suggestions from  general public users,  but nothing works.

How can I get rid of this program from hell!

Read this link for how to turn ReadyBoost off:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IE/windows-vista/Turn-ReadyBoost-on-or-off-for-a-storage-device

Do NOT format the drive.  It is not necessary and people suggesting it know NOTHING about computers or USB sticks.

You can not format it while used as ReadyBoost, anyway it is not necessary.

Go to properties, go to ReadyBoost tab, choose Do Not Use This Device and apply/OK.
