Can't access Cruzer Extreme 16GB USB 3.0

Strange thing happened to my Cruzer. When I attach it to USB port I hear that characteristic sound that something is plugged. In Device Manager it appears almost instant. But when I open My Computer most of the time I see nothing. When my Cruzer decides to appear in My Computer after few tries I can’t open it. Windows shows 0 kb or doesn’t show anything. I’m also unable to format it or acces it from Disk Management. Even HDD Low Level Format can’t access it. I tried on few PC’s with different OS. Result is the same.

Any ideas or is it a lost cause? I bought it just 5 months ago :cry:

It sounds like you have tried everything PiotrLolo.  Hopefully you have the files on it backed up someplace.  The good news is since it is new it is under warrantee and can be replaced free of charge.  Check out this link for returning it.

Hi Piot, any updates so far if you already received the replacement? How long was the entire process?
