Difference between SSD and UltraPlus

After digging around on internet and getting no results can someone please outline the differences between the standard SSD model and the UltraPlus. They are both priced almost the same locally but I can't figure out which is better/newer. Which controller is used on the SSD? Think the UltraPlus is Marvell?

Thanks,

Andy

Re: Difference between SSD and UltraPlus

Ultra plus SSD uses a marvell controller whereas the sandisk ssd uses an internally designed SSD controller. The ultra plus has far better IOPS performance. See the spec sheets below

Re: Difference between SSD and UltraPlus

So given that they're priced the same the UltraPlus is the best choice. Any benefits to choosing the SSD?
