having the same problem described above, audiblesync won’t recognize/activate my new Clip Sport Plus. windows does, however. also tried changing the drive letter. extremely frustrating.
I have reset my Sansa Clip sport to the factory and it connects straight away !!! 
Hi boys and girls! I had the same problem so before buying another mp3 player I bought a new USB-microUSB THICK cable that allows data transfer.
