same problem for me but pushing the pause button on top makes no difference. IT JUST STOPPED WORKING!!! WHAT DO I DO?
My fuze stops working also, when FM radio is on when I turn the thumbwheel 1/2 turn to increase the volume (actually I am tuning the wheel counter-clockwise 1/2 turn). Each time I do this the radio stops and the screen turn white. Nothing then works and I have to RESET it. I turn it back on and try again. I have done this about 5 times.
Am I doing something wrong? Version 2.01.17A…
I purchased this a few years ago just before xmas for my husband… opened it, connected to computer and tried it for a week…then put in the garmin box…and didn’t see it again till today…took it out… tried FM for the 1st time… and this problem…help!
You don’t have the latest firmware in the Fuze. Maybe an update will help.

Unzip the file into a folder. You’ll get two files. With the Fuze connected, open Windows Explorer (Computer or My Computer). Drag the two files (not the folder) onto the driveletter for Sansa Fuze. Disconnect the Fuze and it will update the firmware. It can’t hurt

Just as simple as pushing pause!
Hardly listen to radio but it’s been bugging me for some time now.
Thought it was broken because it’s a refurb unit.
