If anyone is having trouble with AVC or just prefer it and are wondering "Hey, what's a good setting for the AVC" ... since I got a little tired of retyping it (even though its in my sig :smileyhappy: ) here are the specs

Container (file extension) .Mp4
Resolution: 320x240
Frame Rate: 30FPS
Video: 384 or 512
Audio: 128/192kbps (up to you really)
Sample: 44100

Take the converted file once done, and drag and drop into the Video folder of the View and you're good to go.
Hope this helps everyone :smileyhappy:

Having trouble with video transfer for your View? Try using the Any Video Converter (yes that's the name). It can be downloaded at www.any-video-converter.com (pick the free one) It's easy to use, just make it a .mp4

But which profile? There are more than one. And my View claims that they are unsupported media files, and I don't want to use a WMV....

No, theres one for a phone, and one thats a mpeg-4. Either way, when I drag and drop, it claims it's unsupported.

The Mobile Phone (.mp4).

If you use the settings stated in the thread below, then it should work.

Try some other content.

Well I used your settings and everything seems GTG. One thing tho. The one movie I did was in widescreen and Im not sure if when it plays back its showing in true WS or not. Is there an additional setting I need to make in the converter program to ensure its at a proper WS format? Either way your basic instructions worked great for me. Now just trying to decide if I should upgrade my firmware or not, hehe Cant recall but think its still on old version

DemonView, it may be the way you are putting the files on the View...

If the you are using a MP4 file, you MUST use the drag and drop method while in MTP mode.... (You will know you are in MTP mode, if you View can be selected for the "my computer" section.

If you are using a WMV file then, you should use either the  Best Buy Music Store (*FYI - Drag and Drop method also.) OR Windows Media Player...

Good luck !

Hope this helps...
